I spent way too long going down this rabbit hole so here's everything I found.
Most "organic cotton" products on Amazon are not what they seem. The title says organic. The bullet points say GOTS certified. Then you scroll to the fabric composition box and it says 95% cotton, 5% elastane. That 5% is a synthetic petroleum-derived plastic fiber sitting against your skin all day. And the brand never mentions it unless you look.
Everything on this list passed the full check. I looked at the actual fabric composition box- not the title, not the marketing copy- on every single product. If it had any synthetic fiber anywhere, it didn't make the list.

Underwear is the highest priority switch you can make. Groin skin is thin, vascular, and in direct contact with whatever fabric you choose - for pretty much 24 hours a day. Most men's underwear on Amazon has elastane hiding in the fabric. These three don't.

Socks
Socks are the hardest category. Making a sock stay up without elastic is technically possible - so it's looser than what you're used to. I'm being upfront about that. These are the only socks on Amazon with zero synthetic fiber, including in the elastic. If the fit trade-off doesn't bother you, these are the ones.

Burt's Bees Baby is everywhere on Amazon and most people assume it's fully clean. It's not, at least not across their whole line. Their Honeysoft line is TENCEL Lyocell blended with spandex. Their polarbee fleece is 100% recycled polyester. Their baby socks are 26% recycled polyester and 2% spandex. The brand has quietly added synthetic products while keeping the organic marketing. Amazon listings change. Brands quietly update formulations, add elastane, switch suppliers. The title stays the same. The marketing copy stays the same. The fabric composition box in the product details section (the one you have to scroll down to find) is the only one that tells the truth.
