Why I Started Bear Tailor
I grew up with what most people would call an "almond mom", and not in the way the internet means it. My mom wasn't depriving anyone of food. She was just intentional about it.

The pantry was stocked with real, whole foods. Every grocery run came with a label-reading lesson. Her rule was simple: if you can't pronounce it, you probably shouldn't eat it. My packed lunches got questioned by every kid at the table, and McDonald's was basically a foreign concept growing up.
Some people might say I missed out. I'm grateful.
She instilled something in me early- a habit of paying attention to what goes in and on my body. That mindset has followed me everywhere.
So when I found out that the clothes I wear, the sheets I sleep in, and the towels I dry off with were shedding harmful chemicals into my body, I couldn't ignore it. During my first year of college, I became that guy- the one convincing his friends to throw out their polyester underwear and switch to 100% cotton. As an athlete who cares deeply about his balls, I started shopping exclusively for products I could actually stand behind.
After that first year, it became clear: a lot of people would benefit from this information, they just didn't have it yet. Once I learned that something as simple as my clothes could be messing with my hormones, testosterone, and fertility, I went all in on cutting it out. And finding products that were both clean and worth wearing turned out to be a lot harder than I expected.
That's what led me to start Bear Tailor. A hub for natural fabrics only: no microplastics, no hormone disruptors, no harsh chemicals, no synthetic dyes. A place where you can shop without stress, knowing everything here has already been vetted. Whether you're a guy who cares about his testosterone, a woman watching her hormones, or a UCLA student prepping for the sperm race- you're in the right place.
